We thought it would be fun to share our Australian Adventure with you, so we've established this blog give you a little window into our world while we're there.
As of this writing, we are still in narragansett, finally enjoying some sunny weather. Just in time for 4th of July weekend.
God has blessed us so much in the past week, and is answering prayer in a huge way. First, we have found a house to rent in East Fremantle, which is exactly where we wanted to be. Crazy story: We had been using sabbaticalhomes.com to list our house for rent, and I logged in last Saturday to lower the rent price. When I did that, I noticed that I house I had not seen before popped up. I sent the owner an email, and two days later, we had a handshake agreement to take the house. Perfect location, just where we wanted to be, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a POOL! (pictured here)

The same day we got the house, we also got an email from the Pastor at E. Freo Baptist Church, (where Rob attended services while in town on business) and he indicated that a house might be coming up for rent in E. Freo...wouldn't you know, it was the very same house! Then, we got an email from another friend in Freo indicating that this house was directly across the street from his house! Can you believe it?!
A couple of days later, we heard from our property manager that she might have a couple interested in our house! Sure enough they came to see it, and that same afternoon, submitted an application to rent our house! God is good.
Much to do before we leave, including lots of packing and sifting and sorting. But we now have the the 'big logistics' under control. Getting very excited to leave.
